to load data from a csv file

Hi,

is there a way to load data to Oracle table using a csv file. I have tried using some tools and I was able to do it. But the requirement is to do only using Pl\SQL. Any help is appreciated.
I need this very urgent.

Hi

You can achieve this through Oracle data loader which dont need any pl/sql scripts. Or through utl_file concept.

LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE <FILE NAME WITH LOCATION>
INTO TABLE <TABLENAME>
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
LINES TERMINATED BY '\n'
(FIELD1, FIELD2, FIELD3, ... FIELDn);
