Re:9i or 8i
cddvd,
If you are planning get Oracle Certified , please do so by the end of this year, since Oracle will be discontinuing 8i Certification. We have already added Oracle 8i SQL Certification exam to our Certification Practice. Please let us know when ever you are ready to register for Certification exam, we will try to find a coupon where you can get 20% discount. iIt is not too late to pursue the Oracle8i Certified Professional Database Administrator certification. If this is something you want to do and you are relatively new to Oracle and you have not started yet, Count on spending between 10 and 20 hours per week for four weeks (before or after work, weekends, whenever) preparing for each exam. After you have taken an exam or two, you can \"calibrate\" your study efforts accordingly. If you use 9i or 10g, you will have to translate a few items but that\'s not a show stopper. There is sufficient time remaining to become 8i certified. If you start now, you will be able to finish with some time to spare. Remember, if you fail an exam, you have to wait 30 days before retaking that particular exam. Your goal is to pass on the first attempt and not spend an inordinate amount of time preparing. When you are finished taking the 8i exams, jump on the 9i upgrade. Take advantage of the study habits and test-taking skills you have developed over the past few months. If you want to get 9i certified, you must attend one training at Oracle Certified training Center and also 9i also has the same exams like in 8i unless you are working on 9i. thanks, sanereddy |
