Post Oracle : News on the Forthcoming UKOUG BIRT SIG in September

The next
meeting of the UKOUG Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools SIG is taking
place on 20th September 2005, at the
Institute of
Physics, London.
As usual there's an interesting line-up of speakers and presentations,
including ones on Business Objects and Oracle, EPB version 2 and Oracle
Warehouse Builder, plus a talk by Oracle's Pin Patel on how Oracle's BI&W
products integrate together. The full line up for the day is as follows:

Implementing the BI Sales Analytics module within the Enterprise Performance
Management (EPM) tool, Theresa Gamman, Deloitte

Integrating Business Objects with Oracle, Duncan Brown, iTrain Education

The Ins and Outs Of OWB, Mark Clewett, Edenbrook
EPB Version 2 Demo, Gary Billaild, InGroup
Oracle Information Architecture, Pin Patel, Oracle
Oracle BI&W Update, Martin Cooper, Oracle

The SIG committee is up for re-election again, and both Andy Johnson and
myself are standing again. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time,
as I'm off to Open World (hopefully), but it sounds like an excellent line-up
and it's a shame I'm having to miss it. As usual, the
slides will be up on the UKOUG website
just after the event if you want to download them (UKOUG membership required).
