query plz

hi
1)i need to find the top four sal of the employee of each dept
2) I had table with single col and having 3 records in that

ex : table x of col y

no of records: 3
i need to get all these 3 records in a sigle cloumn

like x
------------------
1,2,3

how can i get it?
