Share Knowledge in Peoplesoft

I have just started my reading and usage in People Soft. Can someone suggest me some good links,reference for further reading for envisaging my knowledge or share some ideas or tricks in people soft here in this discussion which would be helpful for me as well for all members.

I will share with you a tip and trick regarding handling output data in peoplesoft. Suppose you want your output data in peoplesoft to be displayed in a excel sheet which is normally displayed in a IE. You can achieve this by following this simple tip and trick. Click the tools option present in explorer of start button in windows. In that go to folder options and choose file types in that. In that select the XLS extension option. This will make your output data to appear in excel sheet. But wait there is one more thing to do. You must disable the output data from appearing in browser. This can be done by selecting the advanced button in the same option and by removing the check from Browse in same window box. The above process would help you achieve your desired output one excel and not in browser.

I am starting a new ppsft project converting the benefits, pensions and retirements into ppsft. does anyone have a md50 of this procedure that I could view as an example? especially the mapping portions.
