You have mentioned that you have got a basic idea about the security features of People Soft. So for further advanced reading on the security features of People Soft you can refer the book Security, Audit and Control, Features written by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Research Team ISACA. This is a excellent book covering the security features of People Soft in a elaborate manner with many examples for easier understanding.
