Perl The Helpful Tool for Hackers?

Perl is really a great language.But If u concentrate on the exploits which relase daily you would see that most of them work in Perl in a way Perl is the most basic "tool" for a hacker.Is it becasue of the reason that coding in Perl is easy? Or hat is the reason that it reamins the basic for every hacker(s).

What do u all think?
