There were 10 puzzles.Q's are as following.
1.A man is riding in a cycle race.After several hours of riding he sees that one-fifth of them are
in front of him and 5/6th of them are behind him.calculate how many cyclists are there.

2.If a man in 490 is of 80 years.But in 500 he is of 70 years.whwn was he born/

3.divide 12 into five parts or 5 nos such that the product of all these nos. results into 12.

4.If a large cube is painted red and cut into 27 smaller cubes using only six straight lines.
how many cubes with faces
1)0 side painted
2)1 side painted
3)2 side painted
4)3 side painted

5.If it takes 15 miles per hr to go from one place to go from one place to another and 12 m/hr
for returning due to wind's favourable direction.what is the average speed?

6.If in a family 7 never eat spinach,6 never eat carrot.5 never eat beans,4 neither eat spinach nor carrot,3 neither eat carrot nor beans,2 neither eat spinach nor beans,1 eats nothing of spinach,carrot,beans and 1 of them eat all the three.How many children are there in total.

7.If sororean always speak truth,midorean either true or false and nororean always lies.
Three people A,B,C make the following statement(each makes 2 sentences).Find who is soro,mid,noro?
A----->Iam the sororean.
C is the nororean
B------>Iam the sororean
A is the nororean.
C------>Iam the Nororean
B is the sororean.

8.If on saturday a man says come three days after the day before the day after tomorrow.
At what day he asked to come.
rest I don't remember.

English was quite easy.

Most of them r asking criteria for the tests, for Infy test the
criteria is not a big factor, he can either be a Engr student or even
MCA, the post is the same.


You can get some old Puzzle papers at www.freshersworld.com and

but I don't think there will be much use in preparing them. The
reasons for that are :
1. Normally, the questions will not be repeated in Infosys.
2. Most of the answers given at these websites are wrong. Or there
won't be any answers given. So, you will get confused unnecessarily,
ofcourse they are gr8 site where u can get lots n lots of
information.It's the best site for the Job Hunters.
