how does this language do everything?

I am from Turkey, I am perfectly good at c/c++/c#.NET and java. I've downloaded python by the most populer downloading site ... and I've read something as some explains before download ...

and it is being said that that language does everything and is more powerfull than java and c/c++ ... and then I've downloaded ... but just I see a MS-DOS program command line ... how can a MS-DOS programming language do visual things (i.e. graphics, windows designs e.t.c) ?

if someone tell me some explains about that topic, I will be appreciate ...
