Need guidance to acquire career in SAP

I have 1.5 yrs in core banking implementation as Software engineer. I want to shift my career into SAP. I have knowledge of java also. What module in SAP will be approriate for me? And also how should I apply to the companies as I don't have any previous exp in java or SAP? Please help me.

Hi Navin,

You can apply for Companies with your current competency & then you can request for change of technology by proving you skills there. Meanwhile you can enhance your JAVA as well as SAP Skills .

Knowing Java is an added adavantage to learn any mySAP technologies.If you need mine help for applying jobs let me know.

If you are really interested in going for a SAP career why not you go for SAP certification course while you are working with your current technology? This would help you to get certification which adds your value to job market in SAP and also help you have an in depth knowledge on the subject.
