Position: Senior Application Developer—Siebel
Department: Application Development

Location: Chicago, IL

Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of programming or systems analysis experience including a minimum of two years experience supporting users in a Siebel environment and including a minimum of two years relational database experience, OR four years of technical training (on-the-job and/or classroom) and a minimum of four years programming or systems analysis experience including a minimum of two years experience supporting users in a Siebel environment and including a minimum of two years relational database experience.
Also required is proven ability to understand and write complex SQL language queries;
Work in a team environment and to interface with and support system users;
Experience configuring Siebel 7.5.x or greater systems;
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Demonstrated leadership skills in areas of analysis, design and Siebel configuration using Siebel Tools 7.5 X or greater, testing, and Siebel 7.5 Essentials training.
Highly desirable skills include

Experience in Siebel eSales, eMarketing, Call Center applications; experience developing applications using XML technologies, EAI and EIM interfaces and Microsoft Visual Basic;
Understanding of Microsoft Office tools
Experience in a Microsoft SQL environment; experience using Siebel development tools, implementation and support.

Responsibilities

This position’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis and development of Siebel programs to meet the business requirements related to the Member Service Center, Technical Support Center and all interfaces to core Membership, Financial and Employee systems;
Defining business and technical requirements, technical design, user acceptance and support documentation, workflow updates and template updates;
Providing written technical documentation of existing and under development Siebel configurations;
Developing streamlined applications using Siebel SDK 7.5 or greater.
