Removing a firewall

I would like to know if there is a manual somewhere on the internet
which I am sure there is, one how to takedown a zonealarm firewall.
I don't know too muck about the comp stuff and I had it installed
thinking that I was being smart and my connection has been horrible
eversince. I uninstalled it but somehow I think that it is lingering
on my computer. If you or someone could direct me to an answer or
guide to removing it it would be wonderful. Thanks

Not sure if I understand your question. Can you just uninstall zonealarm?

What OS are you running?
