Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This position is responsible for the validation and verification of
our content delivery products on both the Windows and Linux platforms.

Responsibilities include:
Ability to lead the testing efforts for individual releases
Works with developers to understand new features to be tested in
releases
Works with or creates simulators for artificial load validation
Comfortable working in both a Windows and Linux environment
Creates automated test scripts using PERL, executes tests, and
analyzes test results.
Demonstrates competence using analysis methodologies.
Reviews bug descriptions, functional requirements, design documents,
code and QA test plans as relevant to areas of specialization.
Works with developers to design test criteria.
Performs manual and automated tests in a large-scale Internet test
network.
Full regression and in-depth testing of complex enterprise CDN core
solution.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years experience in QA/test engineering
BSCS, BSEE degree or equivalent required
UNIX/Linux, Windows 2000 server experience is required.
Programming experience (C, C++, Perl, TCL, Shell scripting) required
Strong knowledge of Internet and telecommunications desired
HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP Protocol understanding required
Experience with proxy servers and caching technologies strongly
desired
Working knowledge of networking a plus
