Multiplue Users for E-Mail accounts...suggestions please

I work in a small company and we have a few locations setup around the
area. Computers are not the primary focus of our company so we only
have one computer setup at each location for office use. There are
about 3 people that use this computer and each user has an e-mail
account.

We currently use Microsoft Outlook 97. My goal is for everyone to be
able to access their e-mail accounts easily but have their e-mail be
private at the same time. The only way that I have been able to do this
thus far is to set up separate Windows user account on the PC and have
them log into their account and open their e-mail on that Windows user.

This way the only people that see those e-mails are the people that the
Windows account belongs to. This would be fine except we have a
database that needs to stay active on a main account while using the
other accounts, so switching users gets a little messy.

Are their any suggestions? either within outlook 97 or a more current
version or with an alternate e-mail software. Any help at all would be
great.
