error in recognizing object

hi,
Am using qtp 9.2,when i am trying to add objects to the obj repository, its not recognizing the exact object which i am clicking.its taking something else.
for eg:
In mercury tours ,if i want to add toport, and want to write an discriptive
programing, its not adding toport ,instead it will sometime take triptype,or
sometime service class, even when i am clicking to the exact position where toport is.
Pls Can anyone tell me how to solve it,is there any patch available ?

To change the index values of the object and try again.

obj identify in qtp

Hi sangeetharavi,

you can try to identify or to train the qtp to learn the object by using the objspy then u can easily add that obj to repositary...

or try to catch that object in winrunner then u can try in qtp...

With regards
