QTP DOubts

Hi,

Am using QTP 9.0 for my application. I'm quite new to the app and I
found ur id in one of the forums. Please help me resolve my doubts:

1) how to run tests back to back( in a batch)

I used the Test Batch Run application from the prgs>qtp>test batch run
and added my recorded scripts manually to the batch. Is there a way to
add a set of scripts to the batch at one go? if so how? ANd after
adding I ran them, QTP recognised the first script and ran
successfully in Expert view, but the second script was not recognised.
and took a long time to run.

2) why should we have the DB connection to the QTP? is it onlyused for
database checkpoints? normally to record and run th escripts the DB
connection is not needed right?

3) Sometimes the application gets stuck and says object not
found/regonisable. I usually think that the object needs to be added
to the object repository and then run. but am i right?
do we need to do the object repository for the enitre application so
that all the objects are recognised?

thanks for ur patience and hope i do get answers.

2) DB connection can be used when u wana check some data in the back end.....eg: if u wana chekc if an application is displaying the right data then u can do so by comparing datas displayed in front end with the ones in the DB
3)its not needed to have all the objects. objects are nothing anything like a textbox, dropdown, button which creates user interaction with the appltn. and it is very much sfficient if u add the objects u r gonu use into the OR
