What is Test Metrics?
Dear All,

Can any one give a picture about Test Metrics, various test metrics calculated?

Hi Zephyr,

We need some numerical value to come to a conclusion in any case. it is far better from prediction. So we start collecting test metrics.

Test metrics is not a direct measurement. It is a combination of two measures. Say for ex no of bugs, lines of code, execution time etc

Some of the Test metrics we collect are
1. Test coverage
2. Bug fix rate
3. Failure rate
4. Effective rate etc
