Question DevExpress controls Identification in QTP

Hi,

I need to do the automation for a project. The project is developed with C#.net and most of the controls used are devexpress controls.

I have the QTP 9.2ver with .net Add-In Extensibility.

Going through the Extensibility documentation I learnt to develop C# dlls and configure the QTP with the XML generated from c# code.

After configuring the QTP

The QTP is able to identify and record the devexpress controls events for the draft application which i developed.

But it is not recording anything on the devexpress controls of the project for which i hav to do the automation.

Can anyone plz help me in this as soon as possible as the deadline is nearing.

the problem is that i made a reference to devexpress 8.3 in the dll whereas devexpress 8.1 has been used in the porject.

Version conflict.
