QTP( Quick Test Pro) leading tool....
also we have Silk Test, Rational robot, Test partner.....
please avoid learning Win runner (out of focus)

Yes learning database is most important
we have test the backend database part also

it'll be be good i u learn sql
u can learn sql your own
