how to proceed to start automation

Hi ALL,
Till now i am doing manual testing web application now my manager asked me to do automation of that product .I do not have idea about winrunner .Can any one help me how to proceed if possible provide me docementation .Its very urgent anyone please help me.

Start here : It\'s in Resources->Learning Center-->Testing

Get these ebboks , I will update EFS Directory -->ebooks--testing with more ebook links.

For the time being download these.
