H1B stamping_now or after !

masters/friends,

I have couple of clarifications.Reuqest your sincere advice on this.

I have got UK stmaping and I am planning to travel on Feb'07 to UK.Even I have applied for H1B in 2006 first quarter.
Now my H1B got approved and I was asked by my conslutant to go for a H1B stamping in Chennai.

Confusion started now.

1) Is it a wise decision to go for a H1B stamping now (in Jan) having UK stamping already done ?
2) I will return from UK in Q1 of 2008.Should I go for H1B stamping once I return from UK or should I get H1B stamped now and travel to US in 2008 after returning from UK? which is safer approach ?
3) Suppose based on your suggestion, if I get my H1B visa stamped in this month (before travelling to UK), and due to unavoidable circumstances if I am unable to travel to US on my H1B in three years (till my H1B validity), is it going to be a problem ?
Heard that H1B should not be misused like not travelling (within three years after it get stamped) once it got stamped.I hope its 3 years validity for H1B visa.

friends, can you please guide me to overcome this dilemma.
Very badly needed your suggestions.

I would find out how many days you will have to enter USA after getting Visa.. usually there will be a limit on most of the visa's the you need to enter the country before certain number of days...

If there are no restrictions. if you know for sure that visa will be valid.. then I would go for USA visa stamping ... you can have any number of valid visa's in the passport...

if the visa expires, you can re-apply for h1b.. I don't see a problem with it...

I would check all these with your lawyer insted of taking advice form any one about validity of H1 visa.. since they keep on changing

Hope this helps..

Smile Validity of H1B

Hi, I am presently in US on H1B and my visa will expire in 2011. I want to go to India and stay there for around 1 yr and again come back to US on same visa.Since its a lottery system so I dont want to apply for a new H1B rather want to come on my previous H1B itslef. So will my visa be still valid. Is there anything I can do to safe guard my H1B visa.

Cheers

I would like to clarify some doubt about H1B. I applied for H1B last 2007. I was included in the list and got a receipt number. When I checked with that in US site they mentioned as below

On June 7, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

But I didn't get any approval notice in my hand and also failed to contact my employer. . I just want to know that my H1B is still valid and can I go for H1B stamping. For that what should I do ? If I get the approval notice is it enough for fix an interview with US embassy.

Expecting an prompt reply

H-1 case returned

Like to share an update. My employer has filed H-1B petition on my behalf.
Today, I got the confirmation dat my case was rejected without any reason and case returned.
No receipt or tracking no. nothing. My employer is saying dat it is because of no project details.
suggest me why it happens and the recourse available.
