Candidates with experience administering networks with Windows 2003, MS SQL, and proven experience with clustering both fail over and network load balancing.
Complete Description:
The person in this position will monitor the performance of the server hardware and software through network management, diagnostic programs and utilities, adjusts the network for maximum efficiency, maintains and analyzes server activity and recommends hardware and software upgrades. Interfaces with vendor representatives to resolve unique hardware system problems and schedules test time to solve such problems

Responsibilities will include:
• Provides input for architectural design decisions.
• Maintaining of OS related system configuration parameters.
• Managing of Datacenter and CORCLIENT Operating Systems
• Maintaining MS Clustering
• Maintaining Virtual Servers
• Creating of Virtual Instances of SQL server on virtual failover server instances
• SAN Management
• Disk Management
• Physical storage management
• Raid management
• Creates logical drives for DBA section
• manages file shares and associated security of, for applications sections (I.E. CORImageshare)
• Installation of all Software
• MS SQL Database instances
• Gateways
• MS Reporting Service
• Cluster manager
• Storage manager
• MQ Series (?)
• Upgrade SAN hardware micro code as per vendor recommendations
• Provides Backup Management interface between DBA group and tape management group
• Trouble shoots web problems
• Deployment of applications
