Conection from IBM AS400 to PC (ODBC)

Dear folks

i have an IBM AS400 and i want to have the controle of some databases on VBasic .NET

I am with some problems because i can't make the link between my PC and the AS400 (ODBC).

You may say that this is very easy. I know.. Control Panel , Admnistrative Tools , Data Sources, etc...

But i am doing something wrong, because i can't link the AS400 to my Pc and see the library and tables on the AS/400.

Coul anybody help me ?:(

I think most o fthe people had allready done that stuff.

I am trying this and i had allready spent a lot of time trying. Had allready seen a lot of articles, but none of them seems to be very clarifying to this matter.

Nevertheless, i am still on the zero, (without any connection) and what i want to do still waiting for that link or connection between the 2 machines.

I am trying the ODBC connection. If there is another much more apropriate , please just let me know.

Would appreciate very much any kind of help on this subject.
