There are different ways of doing this. Here is one good procedure for this. http://roofrabbit.com/xwindualboot.html If you are just planning to use this to learn unix, I would recommend you to start with Live Unix Cd witout having physically install in partitian or use any virtual pc software like vmware. read this one http://www.exforsys.com/Learning_Cen...s_from_CD/124/ What\'s the Unix flavour you are trying to install ..?. let me know if anyone helps.
