There are various vital features embedded with Windows Vista. Two main features related to the usage of windows and its applications are Windows Sidebar and Gadgets. Gadgets are used for maintaining the information needed by users in a convenient and efficient manner. To say for instance the various applications often needed by users like calculator, calendar can all be maintained in Windows Sidebar and its associated mini-applications called gadgets. Windows Sidebar is a pane on the side of the Microsoft Windows Vista desktop. The gadgets are present in the Windows Sidebar.

It was a useful explanation on Windows Sidebar and Gadgets. Can you tell me whether Windows Sidebar and Gadgets are used only for convenient maintenance of applications or can these tow be used f any other purpose. Is it possible that Gadgets can integrate with other programs?
