SASSAS was originally an acronym for Statistical Analysis System. Although SAS started as a package for performing statistical analyses, it can now perform a wide range of report writing, statistical analysis, data transformation, and graphics tasks.
It refers to itself as an integrated applications system. Once data has been entered, it can be analyzed, sorted, printed, and plotted. Procedures allow you to calculate frequencies, compute means, calculate variances, perform regressions, and create custom reports. Please download the tutorial on Getting Started with SAS.
