MS Project – Reschedule Men and Money

By Exforsys | on January 11, 2011 |
MS Project Training

11. Reschedule your men and money

This is also called resource leveling. While the completion of tasks preceding a task determines the criticality of a project, availability of people responsible for certain tasks and of equipment or money has a direct impact on your project. You should therefore look at your resources and “level” them to make your project realistic and doable. Leveling is rescheduling the use of your resources to ensure that there is no overlap, that they are available when needed.

This is how you level your resources:

In Resource Select Level Resource

In the Resource Leveling drop down window, click on Automatic in Leveling Calculations Ensure that you have selected Level Entire Project in Leveling Range for „Project 4‟

Click on Level All Then OK
