Providing Positive Messages to Your Employees
How can I express a Routine and Positive message? What is Routine and Positive Message? Positive message can be rephrased as, “good news”. Whenever you read the newspaper or an article or even watch the news on television, if the news was considered positive, you just responded to a positive message.
Routine messages are somewhat similar with the exception that the information released is neutral. Information that may be very important to the person but is neither positive nor negative is considered a routine message.
What is the importance of a Routine and Positive message?
You have a customer and your goal is to try to sell the customer a brand new HD Plasma Television. If you feed your customer with negative news about the new Television, then most likely you will not achieve your goal. In the other hand if you inform the customer with positive news and everything important there is to know to maintain the Television in good quality, your goal would be more achievable.
Everyone likes to hear a positive message; the response to such news always helps in a pursuit of a good start. A positive message followed by a routine message can attract the person’s eyes, and bring their attention to the table, and the results are always a positive reaction.
It is just like math when you add a positive with a positive you end up with a positive number, you add it with zero, a neutral digit, you still end up with a positive, thus, gives you a great reason for why a routing and positive message is very important to you employees. Routine and positive messages also help introduce better communication to the company between you and the employees, an element that you definitely need for progress in your company.
A message can also be looked as food; the question is what are you feeding your employees? To many it may appear a positive message and they continue their work with assurance that they are working for the best company, but in some cases the employees get fed with junk food appearing to be good but certainly unhealthy to them.
Many companies advertise as being the best company to work for, attracting new employees to the team, but unfortunately many do not keep up with the message they delivered, causing many employees to mistrust the company. You need a routine and a positive message for your employees, messages that gives them assurance that they can trust their company. Without doubt the response will certainly be positive to any task they are given.
When you want great employees working for you, it is important that you express a routine and positive message. Imagine a car with worn out brakes, would you feel comfortable driving the car? Absolutely not! why? The reason being is simply because you will not trust the car to stop when you want it to stop. You want your employees to feel comfortable working for a great company because they can trust it, but you must first win their trust by expressing a routine and positive message.
