Organization Design

Organization Design is one of the strategies that businesses use to address the need for their company to have a competitive advantage over other companies. It is a complex concept that requires sufficient knowledge and skills on several subjects, as well as a good understanding of the various principles that each design must be built upon.

Companies, big and small, have come to fully realize the value of designing their organization in order to effectively create systems, processes, and structures that will increase their chances of success, in terms being able to fulfill their business purpose. Furthermore, they have also come to understand the need for these designs to possess certain characteristics to render them effective and applicable, despite the changes that businesses constantly face.

Organization design is the process of constructing and arranging an organization’s structure, processes, systems, practices, and rewards programs as a means to achieve its purpose and goals.
